Three common maintenance methods for air compressors

Release time:2025.02.07 Number of views:104

The daily maintenance and overhaul goals of air compressors should continuously improve and maintain the maintenance level of equipment, maintain good performance of equipment with the most economical and reasonable life cycle cost, ensure the basic gas needs of industrial enterprises, improve equipment utilization, extend the service life of air compressor equipment, and promote industrial enterprises to improve production efficiency and economic benefits. The classification of air compressor maintenance methods can be roughly divided into the following three categories:

1、 Post repair

Repair only after a malfunction occurs is called post repair; When the production loss is small and the fault can be eliminated by adjusting or replacing vulnerable parts, it is more economical to use post repair methods.

2、 Preventive maintenance

Preventive maintenance includes three aspects of work: daily maintenance, equipment inspection, and preventive repair. Daily maintenance can prevent or delay the deterioration of the air compressor; Regularly or irregularly inspect, monitor, and diagnose construction machinery, promptly detect fault symptoms for repair, and avoid sudden shutdown losses.

3、 Improve maintenance

It is based on the results of fault records and status monitoring, while repairing the faulty part, improving the equipment or local structure, aiming to overcome the inherent shortcomings of the equipment, improve equipment performance, and reduce the occurrence of faults, but cannot compensate for the intangible wear and tear of the equipment.
